Any paint odour typically dissipates within 2 to 3 hours after application.
Because UPVC spraying is carried out outdoors, fumes disperse quickly in normal conditions.
To minimise any smell indoors and protect the finish:
- Keep windows and doors closed during spraying
- Leave them closed for a few hours afterwards
- Resume normal ventilation once the odour has cleared
This helps prevent fumes entering the property and avoids disturbance to the freshly applied coating.
In some cases, odours may linger slightly longer if conditions are very still or humid. Even then, any remaining smell is mild and temporary, and completely safe.
